The International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP) and St. Jude Global work closely to address various issues affecting children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
As one example, the two organizations have worked together to develop the Adapted Resource and Implementation Application (ARIA) Guide, which is one of six SJCARES toolsets. The ARIA Guide is a free, online clinical resource that provides comprehensive, resource-adapted guidance on treating children and adolescents with cancer.
St. Jude Global and SIOP have partnered with several leading global organizations to create resource-stratified, evidence-based guidelines for the ARIA Guide.
In April 2020, in the first weeks of the global COVID-19 pandemic, St. Jude Global and SIOP teamed up to build the Global COVID-19 Observatory and Resource Center for Childhood Cancer.
SIOP and St. Jude created this online resource center for health care professionals focused on pediatric cancer as a global response to the pandemic. The resource enables providers to collaborate, connect and find the latest information on COVID-19 as it relates to childhood cancer.
