The ADAPT study was first conducted in 2019, in collaboration with local stakeholders, across 11 countries in Eurasia. The study received 424 physician responses. ADAPT Eurasia study findings regarding physician attitudes toward and barriers to early integration of palliative care have been published in two articles in the journal Cancer.
ADAPT reports showing Eurasian regional- and country-specific data were developed in English and Russian to increase access to study findings in the local context and to inform advocacy for evidence-based palliative care infrastructure and policies.
