The Global Pharmacy Program works to empower pharmacy professionals worldwide to provide quality pharmaceutical care for pediatric patients with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

Program Initiatives

Pharmacy professionals play an essential role in managing distribution and optimizing the safe and effective use of medicines. Our program aims to engage pharmacy professionals worldwide to advance pharmacy practice, provide education and facilitate research in the provision of pharmaceutical services.

  • Community: Global Pharmacy aims to build a collaborative network of pharmacy professionals committed to the advancement of the profession and the care of pediatric patients with cancer.
  • Practice: Through programs supporting access to essential resources and guideline development, Global Pharmacy seeks to support the standardization and optimization of pharmaceutical care in resource-limited settings.
  • Education: The program aims to lead education of pharmacists and allied professionals on the safe delivery of medications and provision of clinical pharmacy services.
  • Research: Global Pharmacy works to facilitate and support research that will provide evidence-based guidance on pharmacy improvement models and the pharmaceutical care of pediatric patients with cancer.
